What time is the Parade?

I just have one suggestion for all you parade goers. Find out what time the parade starts the night before. We drove up to Delta Friday night and came into town about 12:30 am. Wes thought the parade started at 7 am. so of course we got up early (5:30) to get there and save good seats. Now the kids were not happy about getting up that early which made the morning really fun:) All I could do was laugh. So we ended up leaving late for the parade and we were all worried that we weren't going to have a place to sit. Well come to find out when we pulled up to main street there was no one there, chairs, but no one sitting in them. Remember it is 7 am. So we drove to the park because we could see some people there (20 people maybe) and asked when the parade started. You wouldn't believe, 9:30 am. We were 2 1/2 hours early. No need to worry about getting a place to sit. It all ended up working out pretty good though. Delta has a breakfast in the morning so we were able to eat and not fight the crowd. After eating we took Allie and Easton to the playground and Easton ended up bitting a hole clear through his bottom lip. Lacy and Levi took him to the E-Room and was able to make it back just when the parade started. Easton is doing good. The whole day was a blast! We went to the Delta Derby, and wow is that some fun stuff to watch. Allie loved watching the cars crash and not to mention the fireworks at the end. Happy 4th everyone!
